Who knew such a fabulous place was tucked away and hiding right in plain sight in downtown Libertyville?! Such an eclectic place with an eclectic menu and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! Quickly discovered this is a local favorite and it's clear why. The mussels and the roasted veggies and goat cheese (Goat's in the Garden)were delicious - and generous. The ramen - fresh, delicious, and made from scratch with super fresh ingredients. The signature (melon)Martini was also delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the entire menu! Definitely recommend Green Room!

First time here. My hunny & I went in not too long after they opened during the weekday. We got seated right away. The decor & vibe of the place is nice & laid-back. We got some crab rangoon for an appetizer & oh my goodness, were they delicious! These crab rangoons were so f r e s h & they tasted different, but in the best way. Thouroughly impressed. I was really looking forward to trying out the ramen & I was not disappointed! Again, it tasted fresh & so well made. They aren't stingy with the shrimp that's in it either! Haha my hunny got the coconut curry chicken & he was happy with his choice. I got a taste of it & it was delicious very impressed with the place will def be back.

The Green Room is like a little gem in Libertyville! Went with my husband for dinner and the staff was so so friendly, from the moment they greeted us at the door. Two very nice ladies greeted us and one even offered to check if our car was parked on a good spot so it wouldn’t get towed! Waitress was really nice too! Food was delicious and generously portioned. The steak, though pricey, was cooked to perfection (per my husband’s request - he likes medium rare). Loved that the music wasn’t too loud and the lights weren’t too bright or too dim. Would definitely come again and 10/10 would recommend!!

Wow! This is a small quirky restaurant/bar in Libertyville. Upon entering this establishment, you can sense that something special is happening here! Marlon Brando grew up in this town and frequented this place, ages ago. We sat at the bar and Emma waited on us. She was friendly, kind, funny and really good at doing her job AND talking to all 12 of us customers at the bar. We started with the Panko battered artichoke hearts with a remoulade dipping sauce. The outside batter was perfectly crunchy and seasoned with a nice soft bite into the artichoke heart. Delicious! We enjoyed the special of the night, a battered white fish with Asian seasonings and chili dipping sauce, served with rice and a sesame oil flavored bok choy. Delicious!! I ordered the Ramen noodle soup with vegetables and chicken. Flavored it with chili sauce. So plentiful, I could only eat half of it. The broth of the soup was perfectly seasoned, with warmth and richness that hit the spot! I highly recommend this place ! It has a diverse menu and if you are lucky, Emma will be your bartender!

My Friend and I were looking for a good place to meet and have some "girl time." What a gem! I would recommend reservations though. When I first arrived, my friend was running late. The waiter was friendly and recommended the pomegranate martini! GREAT CHOICE! It was pretty and delicious. The atmosphere is a little tight but very inviting and fun. It is fairly small...just a store front, but we were comfortable at our table. The food was AMAZING! We had the Pad Thai and the nutty chicken. I am not a fan of tofu! Howevery, there was tofu in the PAD Thai! Beyond delicious!!! The nutty chicken came with mash potatoes. YUM YUM YUM I am not a big fan of downtown Libertyville because of the parking and ease of access to the actual restaurants. However, I was able to find on street parking pretty easily. Plus, the food is definitely worth the adventure.
